There Are No Rules - 5 Things That Make Me Stop Reading Websites & Blogs

It's generated a lot of excellent discussion (45 comments!), where I've contributed some additional tips and answered questions. I think the discussion also made me aware of the sixth thing that makes me stop reading sites (at least this time of year): falling snow. For this, I have to give credit to Edie for mentioning.

I've heard from many of you on Twitter that you've made changes to your site now (particularly eliminating black backgrounds), which I applaud! Your readers will thank you.
